With such good luck on our 16g Auto project last year we wanted to see what we could do with a Auto and some real power. We have the shifting and holding the hp down. Still working on the Launch. Hopping the car can make a track debut with in a month.

Was an amazing Friday for the Turd. Went to the track to just have some fun and never planed to set any records.  I did have a running bet with TJ that I would beat his 9sec CRX due to the fact that he probably could no hook up on the fresh cold track. I had totally planed on him beating the Turd so I could pay for his night of racing. Friday the 13th must be good luck since we ran our 9.6 to TJ's best of a 10.2@148.  Was only $20 on the line.

This is Mark's 2004 GTO that we put our Methonal injecton kit, Clutch, Gauges and Tuning done by Lucas and John of English Racing. With the EFI Live Flash software.  We have now done 3 supercharged GTOs and quite a few misc mods. At this point with finishing Marks car we are starting to like working on the  GTO's and feel quite confident with them. Still not at the level as we do with Mitsubishi, but getting closer.

So on my lame quest to find the most hp out of my stock turbo. I am starting to feel like some all motor Honda guy. The amount of work $$ and time to just get a few extra hp is kinda crazy.

2009 recap of my stock turbo tuning (hope its not to hard to read)

Jeff and our crew got his car back up and running this week. Has been down since late last season due to a nasty 3/2 shift.

We had his beast up at Extreme turbo Systems Thursday and made a easy 942whp. We then towed the car up to Seattle, WA to DriftOffice for a EnglishRacing Dyno day. At the end of the day we tossed the car back on and made 961whp.

We feel pretty good that the # are so repeatable and makes almost the same # on 2 different dynos.

So after our catastrophe  last year with the oil filter blowing the O-ring we decided to see if we could set some records on the FP3065.  So we took the motor from a Eagle 9:1 comp motor to a 11:1 Alum Rod motor. Venting the waste gate, Pulling the Power steering.  Trying to see if we can hit a 9.7 in the 1/4 with the car. We went 10.0 last year with the car.

    Mods that matter
-11:1 Alum rod motor English Racing Built
    -Forced Performance FP3065 turbo with V-band 44mm gate and 3in O2 housing
    -3in sleeper TBE
-Ported head done by Jeff Bush

TJ and Justin Both started in V'8s before they built some of the NW fastest Hondas and Mitsubishi. This is a 540cu twin 42r Chevy. They leave it on a carb to save on money and to prove if you know what you are doing a carb works just fine. The Truck runs on E85 and has meth injection so the need for a intercooler is not that big of a deal. The truck is built for punking off rails at the duns and 100 yard sand drag racing.

Due to suspension traval and setup the truck is out of controll on the pavment so 1/4 mi times may never happen unless Justin changes the setup.

So during the winter when we cant drag race we must do something with 4 wheels to keep us going. One of those here at English Racing is wheeling. Most people dont know we do 4x4 work since we dont advertise do to being so busy with the Mitsubishi work.
