We are really starting to have some fun with these turbo bikes

Jeff and Team English Racing are on quite a roll now with his Automatic 42r 1g. Really is proving to be a very constant race car.  

We have one last race in Fontna CA that we are going to try our best and make.

Team English Racing Decided to make the 2900mi one way trip to the NJ Showdown to be apart of one of the best Mitsu events ever.

Things are really starting to look up for us now. At the start of the year we planed on this event, but with all our trans problems it was starting to look like we would not have much of a season.  We ened up getting our converter Wed after noon and got the car up and running Friday just in time to leave for this event. In our mind we wanted to keep the car in one peace so we could make the tirp to New Jersey for the Showdown. 

So even tough Jeffs car can runs 8.9s @40psi we just kepet it  about 34psi and 9.4's  since that it all it took to win this event.

Was and amazing weekend with the amount of people and cars. I could say it was our biggest dyno day yet.

On Sat the highest hp was to Justin in his 92 HB making 750whp.  On Sunday the hp shoot out for the $500 was quite good. 1st was Brain in his Supra making 990whp. Then Vulcan with his twin turbo Camaro but down 1190whp.  Justin in his twin turbo sand truck tried to break Vulcan 1190whp but could only muster up 1140whp.

So Vulcan took the $500 cash home for the Top hp.

We raised around $3100 for Tyler.

So after many mons we seem to be having the Automatic transmission working good. We are still holding our breath since we only have 5 passes on the car.

Should be out at PIR this Friday trying a bit more N2O on the launch and trying a bit more boost.

Team Function is hosting a Honda only dyno day with us June 6th, 2009

Dynoing will start at 9am and go til there are no more cars.

We will  be BBQing around 2pm .

It will be $50 for 3 pulls with A/F

The fun around English Racing just keeps going.

So with Jeffs Drag car still going though growing pains with getting the auto to work how we like. Jeff Decided to play with his show car a bit since we have to be racing something.

We started the Saterday off with a small dyno day and tossing Jeffs 2g on and getting a good tune at 583whp. Did make 617 but were running out of injector at that power level.

This car is full weight with AC, PS, DVD player, System. So for this tank to click off this kind of time is amazing.
